What we collect
When you send the get featured form or the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, city or area, business or organization name, website, and your message. With each inquiry we also keep your IP address, the time it was sent, and the page the form was sent from. The IP address is used only to stop spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you and to contact you about upcoming airings of Buy My Deal. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside the team that runs the show, except where the law requires it.
Where it is kept
Each inquiry is emailed to our inquiry inbox and also written to a private log on our web server, outside the public website. If one delivery step fails, one copy may exist without the other. Both are kept until you ask us to delete them, and a deletion request covers both.
Cookies, tracking and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and videos are served from this site, not from third parties. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) as part of normal hosting.
The video player stores two things in your own browser: where you stopped in each episode, so you can pick up where you left off, and the video quality you chose. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The broadcast archive
The episodes are recordings from 2014 and 2015. Every offer shown has expired. Phone numbers spoken in the broadcasts are replaced in the captions and transcripts. If you appear in an episode, or your item does, and you want a segment removed or blurred, contact us and we will review it.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete the details you sent us, or to stop hearing from us, call toll free 1-866-541-8383 or email the inquiry inbox at info@buymydeal.tv. A deletion request removes your inquiry from both the inbox and the server log. From outside the US, call 1-407-329-4505.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
